On May 14th, avid hiker and OEP supporter David Curtis is going to Europe to walk for peace and raise funds along the way! Along with his wife Barbara, their granddaughter Taryn Dwyer, and friend Kent Childs, David will embark on the seven day, 111-mile (180KM) Hungarian Walk of Friendship. After a brief rest in Lenti, Hungary, the group will begin the European Peace Walk, a 12-day, 205-mile (330KM) walk to Trieste, Italy.
David is donating $1 per mile and has enlisted the support of his congregation and friends in matching his gift and raising funds of their own. Will you join him by making a matching gift of $2.05, $20.50, $205 or more? We will announce donors and their matching gifts at several points along David’s trip to encourage others to support the work of On Earth Peace.
We invite you to make a gift and share it with your networks via the special Facebook page created for the walk. David and his crew will be sharing updates along the way and followers of the page will be the first to see them!
You can also visit our secure donation site at https://on-earth-peace.secured.atpay.com/ and select “Walk for Peace” under the designations list to make your gift today!
As always, we value the generous support of donors like you. Our programs and ministries continue to grow thanks to your gifts.
