Ari works as OEP’s Outreach Intern. They love playing with their dog, Poppie, writing, and playing the ukulele! At OEP they manage and design content for the Just Peace Outfitters (JPO) storefront. You can find Ari’s designs and the JPO store here. 

Ari graduated from Centenary College of Louisiana in 2019 with a major in Communication Studies, and a concentration in Professional Writing. While at Centenary, Ari took extra graphic design courses.

Exploration in graphic design led Ari to the Outreach Internship with On Earth Peace. “I like that I get to use my skills and passions towards something that lines up with my lifestyle, my passions, and my needs as a worker. I’m able to utilize my skills in an environment that works really well for me. I appreciate the community. I’m able to build relationships with other interns, and my supervisor.”

Ari has a few things they are currently working on at OEP. Most notably, expanding on the Stop Recruiting Kids sticker collection on the JPO store.

We asked Ari one fun fact to share with the OEP community and they said, “My end goal is to own a design studio or a marketing firm that works for nonprofits. Lots of nonprofits are struggling to afford communication and branding materials. I want to be there at a price they can afford.”
