On Earth Peace is starting new affinity groups in the fall of 2023 and you are invited to participate! An affinity group is a group of people with something in common who decide to act together against a specific issue using active nonviolence. If you have already decided on an affinity and focus for your group, then come to the Affinity Groups Orientation to get your group up and running! 

The Affinity Group Orientation will take place on Tuesday, September 26th at 6:00pm Eastern Time. 

This is a two part training that will include:

1. A two-hour introduction to Kingian Nonviolence: During this part of the orientation, you will learn more about active nonviolence and how it can be used to address the issue your Affinity Group has focused on. 
2. Creating a plan for your affinity group: During the second part of your orientation, you will brainstorm the ways your group will use Kingian Nonviolence to take action. You will receive training on how to create and execute a 90-day-plan for your group.
