Gifts That Help Now: Make an Immediate Impact

  • Required Minimum Distribution or Qualified Charitable Distribution: Several OEP donors give funds from a Required Minimum Distribution (RMD). RMD is the minimum amount that owners of retirement plan accounts and traditional pre-tax IRAs generally must withdraw annually starting when they reach age 73. (Info courtesy IRS website.) This process is called a QCD or Qualified Charitable Distribution and OEP is a valid recipient for these distributions.
  • Outright Gifts: Gift of cash or assets such as stock and bonds. If you are considering an outright gift, please ask for our gift acceptance policy.   
  • Donor Advised Funds: DAFs are the fastest-growing charitable giving vehicles because they are easy and provide good tax benefits. When you contribute cash, securities, or other assets to a donor-advised fund, you are generally eligible to take an immediate tax deduction. Those funds can be invested for tax-free growth and you can allocate grants to On Earth Peace. (Source: Fidelity Charitable.)
  • Charitable Lead Trusts pay income to OEP for a term or for life, after which assets revert to the donor or heirs.

Become a member of our Legacy Society when you include On Earth Peace in your future plans:

  • Bequests in Wills: Many donors have named On Earth Peace as a beneficiary in their will.
  • Retirement Plan Beneficiary Designation: You can name On Earth Peace as a primary or contingent beneficiary of all or a percentage of your plan. 
  • Charitable Remainder Unitrusts or Charitable Remainder Annuity Trusts are flexible tools that can pay variable or fixed income to the donor or OEP, with the remainder reverting to the donor or ending up with On Earth Peace.
