Event: The Stones Cry Out Virtual Delegation: "Maintaining the Momentum, Mobilizing for Change"
Date: June 5th and June 12th at 1:00 pm EST
Description: (ICMEP) The second Stones Cry Out Delegation will be held virtually focusing primarily on reinforcing and expanding the contacts we established on Capitol Hill, the State Department, in the Washington DC church community, and beyond. Our goal is to rally a broad spectrum of church leaders, PIN groups, and their allies across the US to exert political pressure on our government to reverse its course of unconditional support of Israel and to advocate for full civil, political, and human rights for Palestinians in their land. Throughout the summer, we will hold a series of webinars with important Jewish, Christian, and Muslim scholars, activists, and NGO leaders, then gather in Washington DC during the week of September 23-27.
The webinars will focus on context, strategy, leveraging, and messaging with members of Congress, the State Department, and the Administration. At this date, we have confirmation from the following interviewees: Rifat Kassis, Munther Isaac, Sam Bahour, Issa Amro, Omar Haramy, Ali Abunimah, Mads Gilbert, Neve Gordon, Huwaida Arraf, Josh Ruebner, Wendell Griffen, David Wildman, Jonathan Kuttab, and Mark Braverman, and more still to come! Register here for the June 5th webinar and here for the June 20th webinar.

Event: Protest at the White House
Date: June 8th at 12:00 pm
Location: The White House
Description: June 8 marks eight months of US-Israeli genocide of the Palestinian people, and marks the 54th anniversary of the occupation of Gaza.
A month ago, Biden said that the invasion of Rafah was a red line. But now, the invasion of Rafah has continued for weeks, has expanded to the entire Gaza Strip, Biden’s red line is nowhere to be seen. Instead of following through and stopping military aid to Israel, Biden has authorized billions more in weapons shipments to be used to kill and massacre Palestinians.
Biden can’t draw the line, but we can. On June 8, we will come together from across the country and surround the White House. Wearing red, and raising our demands high, we will show the world that we are the red line. We demand an immediate ceasefire, an immediate end to the siege on Gaza, the freedom of all Palestinian prisoners, and an end to the occupation of Palestine. Learn more here.
