Event: Jewish Voice for Peace Power Half-Hour for Gaza
Date: Daily at 3:00 pm EST
Description: We’re still here and growing in numbers! Join us every weekday at 12PT/3ET to channel grief into action. Bring a friend!
We need all hands on deck now to act. Wherever you are, you are needed urgently now to act to stop the genocide against Palestinians in Gaza.
As we hold the devastation of the last 5 months of genocide, in which thousands of Palestinian lives have been lost, we are terrified and enraged. The U.S. government has continually sent weapons to the Israeli military as it wreaks one atrocity after the other in the over 2 million Palestinians trapped in Gaza. We must act together to demand a permanent ceasefire, an end to U.S. funding to Israel’s military, and a free Palestine.
Come to channel grief and fear into action to stop the bloodshed. All are welcome. All are needed. Register here.

Event: Summer Reading Circle
Date: July 6, 13, 20, 27 at 11:00 a.m. ET
Description: Let’s read together Freedom is a Constant Struggle: Ferguson, Palestine, and the foundations of a movement by Angela Davis
‘Freedom is a Constant Struggle’ is a compilation of speeches and essays by feminist scholar and political activist Angela Davis. As a prison abolitionist and Black woman in the United States, Davis leans into an intersectional understanding of movement organizing and guides her work by pulling together several global struggles including Ferguson and the Black liberation movement alongside Palestine and the anti-colonial movement. In the book’s forward, Dr. Cornel West attests that “her ubiquitous lecturing, marvelous teaching, and courageous solidarity in every corner of the globe keep candles of hope burning in the cold and chilling days of neoliberal hegemony.”
Join us for conversation of hope in our summer reading circle, as we move through the book over the course of four weeks and learn from each other through response and discussion that stems from the text. Register here.

While we continue organizing and mobilizing to march on the DNC in Chicago this August 19 and 22, we are also mobilizing to join the coalition to march on the RNC on July 15. We know that both the Democrats and Republicans serve only the ruling class and U.S. imperialism. Both parties have ignored the demands of the people, are responsible for the ongoing Israeli genocide in Gaza, and have exasperated problems with draconian repression here in the U.S. for working and oppressed people. Join us in the fight against the reactionary Republican agenda!
