On Earth Peace’s internship opportunities for young adults age 18-24, college students, recent grads, and graduate students. Interns work closely with our executive director, program directors, and program partners. Internships are paid. Development & Database Assistant Intern
$10 / hour
Internship
The Development Assistant Internship is remote in location and requires one to be able to work creatively and efficiently on their own. The development intern will be responsible for supporting intense, goal-oriented crowdfunding and/or peer-to-peer campaigns that involve board members, staff, interns, and volunteers. This intern is in charge of contributing to OEP’s developmental projects, while learning about fundraising, communications, and development for nonprofit organizations and campaigns.

The Stop Recruiting Kids Campaign (SRK) Organizer Internship is remote in location and requires one to be able to work creatively and efficiently on their own. The SRK Organizer will help expand the number of people, organizations, and media channels that follow, support, participate in, and share information about the campaign. Duties include moderating the SRK social media presence, creating content and memes, public advocacy, and supporting program partners.

Newsletter Editor

The Newsletter Editor Internship is remote in location and requires one to be able to work creatively and efficiently on their own. The Newsletter Editor coordinates and produces OEP’s bi-weekly e-newsletter, the Peacebuilder, and our spring and fall print newsletters. Duties include working with staff and interns to create content, proofreading, online formatting through NationBuilder, and responding to inquiries.

Racial Justice Organizer Dayton/Miami Valley

The Racial Justice Organizer for Dayton/Miami Valley (OH) Intern, with the support of a local mentoring team, supports and advances connections between racial justice organizers in the greater Dayton area and Church of the Brethren congregations in the area. The intern catalyzes and stimulates church involvement in ongoing racial justice work and the emergence of a Beloved Community of justice workers, building power for change efforts.

Youth Peace Travel Team
$2500 Tuition Stipend
Internship for Summer 2018
Application Deadline- January 5, 2018
The members of the Youth Peace Travel Team travel to camps across the Church of the Brethren denomination, teaching about peace, justice, and reconciliation. The group also gives peace programs at a variety of camps and conferences over the summer. The goal of the team's work is to talk with other young people about the Christian message and the Brethren tradition of peacemaking. College age Church of the Brethren young adults (19 - 22 yrs.) will be selected for the next team.
