Internship Highlight: Chelsea Little

Chelsea works as our Newsletter Editor Intern at OEP! “I do a lot of the work associated with the various email blasts and newsletters sent out by OEP,” Chelsea explained. “I am majorly responsible for the bi-weekly PeaceBuilder, so collecting (and sometimes writing) content for that, formatting, editing, and sending out the Peace Builder, though I also handle a lot of the blog posting and the work involved with the bi-annual newsletters and conference wrap-ups. I’m just your friendly neighborhood OEP content collector!”
As one of the main communication-based workers at OEP, Chelsea loves the freedom she has to express herself and the freedom her co-workers have to express themselves at OEP. “I have worked at a good amount of places during my limited time on this planet, and it certainly isn’t a stretch to say that OEP is one of the friendliest and most cooperative work environments I have ever worked in! I feel like I have legitimate friends in the staff here at OEP, even if I have only ever met these people over the phone.” When Chelsea is away from her computer, she enjoys finding adventures in her day-to-day life. “I get bored easily, so I do anything I can get my hands onto. Recently I’ve gotten into gardening, but I have been known to play with SFX makeup, play lacrosse, snowboard, surf and write during my free time. I am also a huge Disney nerd, so that takes up a good amount of time as well!”
With the large amount of content that comes from OEP during a given month, it is great to have a dedicated soul like Chelsea on the team. Thank you Chelsea for keeping OEP running proud and strong!
