One of Albert's key responsibilities is being the Development Assistant at On Earth Peace. Another responsibility is being a volunteer tutor for middle school students at Tappan Middle School, located in Ann Arbor, MI. He is also part of the executive board of his university chapter of National Society of Collegiate Scholars.

National Society of Collegiate Scholars
National Society of Collegiate Scholars is a college organization founded by Steven Loflin and has over three hundred active chapters across colleges in the US, including the district of Columbia and Puerto Rico. The organization provides over a million dollars in scholarship rewards to students in order to help them pay their way through college as well as giving students the chance to become leaders in their communities through the many community service events planned by the college chapters. Albert is a Vice President of PACE, which is a program that involves tutoring at various middle schools in Ann Arbor. He is currently helping to get members to join the program as well as also taking part in tutoring students himself.

Tappan Middle School
Tappan Middle School is located within Ann Arbor and is committed to helping their students to go on to become leaders and develop themselves. Albert has helped tutor these students by encouraging them to solve homework problems intuitively and understanding a example problem that is useful in solving other difficult problems. He is also involved in helping to plan March To College, an event at the University of Michigan that hopes to introduce middle school kids to the college climate and encourage them to think about attending higher level education.

On Earth Peace
On Earth Peace focuses on supporting people who are working for justice and peace, helping them to develop as leaders in their communities. Albert's primary role at OEP has centered on advising on potential website designs that may help encourage an increase interest in OEP. Part of this project is to establish a Impact Leader Profile Page for current and former OEP staff in order to not only present the important and significant work they have done to promote justice and peace but also to show how OEP is committed to developing these talents.

On Earth Peace's Impact on Albert
“I had some experience with community service work for non-profit organizations, but I was never truly aware of the many aspects that went into ensuring that an organization was fully capable of setting out to fight against oppression and discrimination. Once I joined On Earth Peace, I was able to communicate with people who were just as passionate as me about fighting for justice and peace and my work, albeit being mostly behind the scenes, is allowing me to see just how I can help make an impact on people's work.”
