Join us for our Community Youth Engagement Grant Info Session on Monday, November 18 from 7:00 to 8:00pm Eastern Time!
Have you ever noticed something in your community that you’ve wanted to change?
Do you have an idea but don’t know how or where to start?
Are you interested in gaining experience in social justice work?
Are you in grades 6-12? Or do you work with youth in grades 6-12?
Join us for an info session on On Earth Peace’s Community Engagement Grant!
The Community Engagement Grant is a grant designed to support youth-led (for the purpose of this grant, we are defining youth as grades 6-12) projects on peace work and justice in communities all over the world. From building a little shared community library for social justice to art murals on social justice, we are open to all ideas. We do not require prior experience with community organizing. We want to help you achieve your goals and work with you to better your community.
Grant winners will receive $250-$500 towards their project as well as virtual training on the Kingian Nonviolence framework and two other webinars catered towards the proposed project. Working together with peace work professionals from On Earth Peace, you will gain an international and supportive network. We will guide and advise you throughout the entire project. The deadline for applications is December 15, 2024.
