Greetings!
The Deportation Defense Response Team would like to extend an open invitation to a weekly Zoom prayer meeting specifically to pray for immigrants who are detained, for those who are at risk of detention and deportation, and for all who are supporting them.
Julie Avila, an educator and organizer on the DDR Team, will be leading this gathering. We also invite you to bring prayer requests, experiences, concerns, prayers, poems, and liturgy to share during this time if you would like. You may also choose to come listen and pray silently with us.
Our next gathering will be on Thursday, June 19th at 12 pm ET / 11 am CT / 9 am PT
