Start the change you want to see in your community
On Earth Peace is starting new affinity groups in the fall of 2023 and you are invited to participate! An affinity group is a group of people with something in common who decide to act together using active nonviolence. Come and learn more in our July/August info sessions, so you are ready to start as part of the process this fall.
To help you consider if this is right for you, this summer we are providing several opportunities to learn about affinity groups and find out how to begin forming a group during the summer months. In September, there will be orientation sessions offered for new OEP affinity groups.
What you can expect in this session:
- What you can you can “do” with an affinity group
- Learn the steps you need to take to start a group
- Connect with other people who might be interested
- Hear how OEP can support your affinity group
