Join the On Earth Peace community as we prepare ourselves to respond to political violence and rising authoritarianism. On Earth Peace is a Kingian Nonviolence organization that uses the values and strategies of nonviolence to support community initiatives on issues of violence and harm. On March 26, we will hold our third organizing meetup focused on political violence and authoritarianism.

• Develop our thinking (and share our feelings) about what’s happening in the country both nationally and locally 
• Identify strategies and next steps for empowered action informed by our commitments to creative nonviolence 

What to expect: 

• Open conversation, presentations, and mutual sharing about what’s happening in the country both nationally and locally, including: 
  • How the regime change is touching you and your communities 
  • Specific impacts on immigrants, LGBTQ, and other communities who are feeling the brunt of changes - including you and your communities 
• Hear a synthesis of what we’re hearing from the OEP community through one-to-one meetings in the last month 
• Share your needs: What do you need to stay strong right now, and take your own next step? 
• Ideas, resources, and approaches that people are finding useful
