Peace Witness

"When I dare to be powerful, to use my strength in the service of my vision, then it becomes less and less important whether I'm afraid." - Audre Lorde

Organized unconditional love, overcoming evil (Romans 12).

From "making a statement" to making a difference.

What does God's love look like when applied to the violence that impacts a community?

On Earth Peace’s Peace Witness program provides support and encouragement those who wish to address issues of violence and oppression using the power and promise of the Christian faith.

Do you want to proactively and powerfully respond to violence or injustice in your community or the world? Would you like help figuring out how your congregation can come alive as a living peace church?

The Peace Witness program provides skills, inspiration, and connections so that folks in the church can speak up on the issues they care about. If you wish to make your efforts for peace and justice both spiritually rooted and strategically informed, e-mail coordinator of peace witness Matt Guynn or call 503-775-1636.
