Coin Container Craft Projects for Children and the Young at Heart

Most are piggy banks made from various materials, but could be turned into just about anything. Let the children use their imaginations to think of some object that represents peace or social justice. You can "prime the pump" with words like "homeless", "tolerance", "nonviolence".
If you're doing this as part of a class, when the children are finished with their projects, have them share what they have made with the rest of the class and/or with the entire congregation. That might be a good way to start the adults sharing what they have come up with as Change for Peace containers.
